Blow out the candle
Introduction:
The day is ending, and we are thinning,
light is leaving, and the candle is dimming.
I know what you want, and I can not be truthful,
for how can I tell you that you are painful.
The stars come out, for the sun has set,
but you, I will never forget.
I must leave, give me my heart,
before we tear each other a part.
The night is dark, as you can see,
so let the cold evening, embrace me.
Don’t wish you life into a well,
We cannot be, can’t you tell?
End us now, turn out the light,
push me away, with all your might.
Shut the door, lock the handle,
forget me now, blow out the candle.
